Power of Agreement! :)

Remember the story in Genesis 11, about a group of people who decided together to build a tower that reached to the skies.
God took notice of what these people had agreed to do together.

His response? “If they can accomplish this when they have just begun to take advantage of their common language and political unity, just think of what they will do later. Nothing will be impossible for them!” (v. 6). According to God, agreement makes the impossible possible.

In Matthew 18, Jesus says to his followers, in New Living Translation “I also tell you this: If two of you agree down here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you” (v. 19, NLT).

NIV--> “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.”

If you agree with another person here on earth concerning anything you’ve asked God for, he will do it for you.

I love this version most!!

"I also tell you this: If two of you agree down here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven WILL DO it for you. For where two or three gather together BECAUSE THEY ARE MINE, I am there among them."

Do you see how the verse begins with, “I also tell you this…”? This indicates that what Jesus is saying here relates to what he said just prior to this statement.

Even though you're alone, actually the Holy spirit is also agree with what you're praying (Matthew 9:29).. So, the minimum number is achieved.. But... Three will be better.. :) The power flowing out of agreement is, therefore, a three-person event: two people, plus God, agreeing for something to happen.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.”

A person’s faith can be attacked and defeated.

When our faith is attacked, we CAN lose our faith and, with it, the very thing or outcome we were believing for.

Coming into agreement with another person provides support for the faith point to which we’re trying to hold on.

The rest of Ecclesiastes 4:12 goes on to say, “Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” When you bring God into the agreement you have in faith with another person, He can undergird the faith you have together.

Hoahhh.. Start praying together, and come with agreement.. Ask your family, or your friend to put the same faith.. Agree with something :)

Japan Earthquake and how it affects me

I'm not in Japan.
I was online, chatting with some friends, and studying. Exam coming in 3 hours.
Suddenly one friend type "Earthquake in japan 8.8".. I was like.. "Oh noo.. That's HUGE!!"
I tried to google, and saw some crazy scary photos.. :(
It's so sad!!!
And a thought hit me.. Wait.. Jia is in Tokyo!
My cousin, Jia, is working there. Oh dear.. Can't focus on the notes i should study..
So, i text my aunty.. She's away on a trip abroad. Luckily she turned on her handphone.
She was shocked hearing the news. Thanks me for letting her know. She said she's gonna text my cousin.
More news on tv.. CNN.. Local tv.. Scared me!
It became harder for me to concentrate.. I texted my dad, telling him, how i am scared for Jia.. (I realize that i'm being so selfish, but i can't stand it). He comfort me, saying that it'll all be good, God have a good plan for everyone.. Including Japan.. Including all the disaster.. Perhaps God wanted the world to realize that we've ignored Him?
I haven't spent enough time studying for my exam. So, I force my self to close the laptop and tv.. Start studying, and it's really hard to concentrate. An hour later, my aunty text me. Jia is save. Thank you.. I was really glad!!
But this morning (it's 10am here now).. I saw a news that there is possibility of nuclear leakage.. The pressure on the nuclear reactor is increasing.. Oh dear..
I prayed that every thing is gonna be okay!
